Replacement piston for the VMC Ranger 213/225 (Largeframe 200) for Vespa PX200, Rally 200 and Cosa 200. You will receive the piston in four selections (00-03), each with a 0.01 mm graduation, to match cylinder identification and running clearance.

Why there are selections

The pistons differ by 1/100 mm. This allows you to compensate for wear in the cylinder or deliberately select a narrower or wider piston running clearance.

Practical tip: If the cylinder tends to make rattling noises when stationary, which disappear when accelerating, the next higher selection can help.

Coating and running in

The VMC Ranger piston has a molybdenum sulphide anti-friction coating on the piston skirt. It supports the running-in process and degrades with increasing mileage.

Long stroke: 60 mm stroke without piston modification

The piston can be used with 60 mm long-stroke shafts without any changes to the piston, making it suitable for both 57 mm and 60 mm setups.

Important: Match the identification on the cylinder

Please match the cylinder identification with the piston(0-1-2-3). Alternatively, the piston can be used as an oversize version if you want to adjust the running clearance accordingly.
