Primary reduction ratio from FABBRI R ACING for high-performance engines. Suitable for all Smallframe shift engines such as V50, 50N, SS90, PV125, ET3 and PK80-125 S/XL/XL2 engines. Focus of the Performance version: maximum load capacity at high speeds and hard gear changes.

Why Fabbri primary?

The set has a massively reinforced primary drive, making it durable even for very powerful engines. The CNC-milled cover plate effectively prevents the thin standard plates from breaking through and holds the shock absorber springs securely in place. Thanks to the high-strength material used, the reinforced clutch basketoffers a high degree of safety even with extremely powerful and high-torque engines. A recess in the basket also allows the clutch pinion to be replaced without having to dismantle the entire primary.

Reduction ratios (please select variant)

24/72 = 3.00 - for engines up to 125cc or very powerful engines on tight race tracks (short, snappy, fast acceleration).

27/69 = 2.56 - the "all-round" ratio for most tuned engines. Can be combined very well with auxiliary shafts with shortened 4th (or 3rd and 4th) gear to keep the engine clean in the band.

28/69 = 2.34 - for high-torque setups and or short 3/4 (17-20) countershafts. The first gears are longer and more usable, the 4th remains at about 125cc level (PV/PK/ET3).

What is the performance version intended for?

High-power setups: when the engine is strong and the primary sees permanently high load peaks.

Racing: hard shifting, high revs, lots of grip, short cool-down phases.

Stability at the limit: if you prefer to have reserves in the drive instead of "just about".

Performance vs Endurance - what's the difference?

Performance: consistently designed for maximum load capacity and racing - more reserves at high speeds and load peaks.

Endurance: for strong road and long-distance setups - very robust, but with a focus on everyday suitability and mileage.

Practice: If you want to build "safely at the limit", Performance is the first choice. Endurance is perfectly adequate for most sporty road engines.
