MONTAGETIPP>/strong>: The shoulder in the middle of the shaft (between the O-rings) is already intended as a grease reservoir ex works. Since the shaft is mounted directly in the aluminium of the motor housing, it should always be installed with a grease pack, e.g. with the lithium saponified grease we offer (7673778). This prevents water from penetrating between the shaft and the hole in the housing and effectively prevents contact corrosion.
TIPP>/strong>: Many older motors still use a short brake arm (length approx. 50mm). This can be exchanged for the longer brake arm (65mm) of the later PX Lusso or 200cc models. Due to the longer lever the possible brake power increases considerably, the dosage decreases a little bit.
