Rear Wheel Bearing Cover Plate -MB DEVELOPMENTS- Lambretta LI, LIS, SX, TV (Series 2-3), DL, GP - with 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm steps

A cover plate and cover sheet for the rear wheel bearing of the Li family in one—from MB Developments.

On the MB plate, the holes have been changed to slotted holes so that the bearing plate’s bolts—even if they are misaligned—can be easily installed and removed. 

The stainless steel plate is available in a flat version and with steps of varying depths to compensate for protruding rear wheel bearings during installation.

This version is made of stainless steel and features a 0.5 mm step on one side and a 0.7 mm step on the other.

The side with the 0.5-mm recess is ideal for bearings that protrude up to about 0.7 mm from the housing.

The side with the 0.7-mm recess is ideal for bearings that protrude up to about 0.9 mm from the housing.

The plate is also available in a folded version with a 0.3 mm and a 0.9/1.2 mm step.

Top Tip 1: Use M6 self-locking nuts and do not overtighten them to prevent the bolts from bending or damaging the threads in the housing.

Top Tip 2: Ideally, there should be a gap of 0.1–0.2 mm between the plate and the housing after tightening.
