CDI holder from BGM for Piaggio Ciao 1st and 2nd series

With the CDI holder from bgm, it is possible to install a CDI for the electronic ignition on a Ciao of the first and second series without any further modifications. The holder is simply placed under the two engine bolts and attached to the engine.

The following materials are required for installation:

1. 4x washer M5x15x1.2 mm

2. 2x self-locking nut M5 DIN985

For all those who drive a contact ignition, the CDI holder can be extended by the ignition coil holder (item no. 2211047), which allows the use of normal ignition coils. The new position of the ignition coil is also a clear advantage, as it is no longer fitted under the carburetor, but under the right-hand side panel to protect it from splash water.

Note: Depending on the CDI used, the side cover may protrude slightly.
