Shift claw incl. reinforced shift spring and balls -FABBRI RACING-
Gears jumping out are a sure sign of a worn shift claw. This should be replaced as quickly as possible to prevent other transmission parts from becoming defective. When dismantling, also inspect the tooth flanks of the gearwheels. If these show signs of pitting, they should be replaced.
Very high-quality gearshift segment with hard gearshift spring in superb quality. Absolutely race-proven and also perfectly suitable for everyday use. However, more precise shifting and a significantly longer service life naturally come at a higher price
SUITABLE FOR
The Fabbri shift claw is manufactured for the so-called PK gearbox type. This is driven with the round type (length of 50 mm (overall height)). Round type means that the pins that engage in the gear wheel are provided with a radius at the transition to the end of the arm.
IDENTIFYING GEARWHEELS
The PK type can be recognized by the marking on the gearwheels. This always starts with a 42xx (= round gear claw with 50 mm). The old type is identified by the number 37xx (= rectangular shifting claw with 51 mm)
EXCEPTIONS
The PK gearbox version was already used in the last years of construction of the V50 (V5A1T from no. 69444), V50 Special (V5B3T from no. 94315), V550 Elestart (V5B4T from no. 1514) as well as the PV125 (VMA2T from no. 150203) and ET3 (VMB1T from no. 8161).
