If a PK fork is fitted with a disc brake, there is an offset at the shock absorber mount. This is due to the fact that the disc brake was originally only designed for the PX models.

This adapter plate also moves it outwards at the top so that the shock absorber is straight again. At the same time, it is also lowered by 5 mm, which benefits a balanced weight distribution.
