The complete shock absorber shown here for the PX models from 1998 onwards has a length of 390mm. It is therefore driven without an additional distance piece. It can also be used in earlier PX models by removing the spacer (mounted between the shock thread and the silent block on the vehicle side). Models before 1984 also need a silent bush with a hole for a M10 screw. We advise against using a M9 screw in a bush for M10. The damper could rest on the engine housing.
length: 390mm
fork width: 50mm
screw: Ø10mm
SC KNOW HOW: The rear shock absorbers of the large frame models can be roughly divided into three lengths
Further distinguishing features are the width of the lower clevis (45 and 50mm) and the hole diameter for the lower fixing screw (for screw M9 or M10 (from 1984)).
