This clip for fastening the inner side cover is mounted in the side cover and ensures that the cover snaps into place properly and is held firmly. Especially on older scooters, the original parts are often bent, worn out or missing completely - the hood gets play, sits crooked or rattles while riding. With an intact clamp, the hood is guided in a defined manner and stays where it belongs.
Important: The corresponding bracket for the clip is welded into the side cover, so a repair or retrofit should ideally be carried out during the restoration - i.e. before painting.
The bracket is made of metal and galvanized. It is suitable for many classic Vespa 125 and 150 Largeframe models as well as corresponding Motovespa license models.

Note: For conversions and country-specific variants, please briefly check the design of the side cover (mount/holder).
A small clip with a big effect: If the side cover no longer holds cleanly or rattles, a new inner fastening clip is often the right step - ideally as part of the restoration before the cover is painted.
