Grinding the brake shoes precisely with the UNI Auto tool
Listed in the Lambretta tool catalog with the Innocenti number 70655 and here as a beautiful repro from UNI Auto. The tool is used to grind in the brake shoes and ensure an even contact pattern of the linings.
The tool is mounted in place of the brake drum and driven by the running engine. It is then used to slowly brake down until the brake shoes are concentric.
Decorative tip: Also looks great on the tool wall!
