The Vespa PX was produced in numerous displacement variants, including 80, 125, 150 and 200 cc. It uses an air-cooled two-stroke engine with four-speed manual transmission, contactless ignition, clear carburetor design and the typical Vespa frame shape. The T5 sets sporty accents with its short-stroke 125cc engine, the revised head and the striking plastic handlebars. The Cosa has its own technology with a hydraulic clutch, modified rear brake and modified engine housing, but remains closely related to the PX. LML 2T models from Indian license production take up the PX concept almost completely and, depending on the year of manufacture, supplement it with their own electrical details.

Technical features of the Largeframe 2T series
The PX engine is considered one of the most durable and easiest to maintain two-stroke engines in the Vespa range. It offers robust bearing areas, a clear engine geometry, a very easily accessible clutch and a typical side cover for quick servicing. The T5 stands out with its free-revving cylinder, the special head and an optimized intake system. The Cosa offers a technically exciting mix of classic large-frame design and independent solutions such as the hydraulic clutch and the modified fan wheel. LML 2T scooters, on the other hand, offer an almost identical PX base and enhance it with their own electrical components or detailed solutions.
