We have it: Edge protection for Vespa PK, PK-S, PK-S Lusso, PK ETS
The Vespa PK S models and their big sister Vespa PK ETS have now achieved cult status among the Vespa smallframe models. These scooter models have become sought-after vehicles. The list of original spare parts still available from Piaggio for the first models in the PK series is getting shorter and shorter. In addition to the special features such as
- speedometer,
- tank and the
- handlebar cover,
the
edge protection for the leg shield is certainly one of the most sought-after spare parts. On the PK S, this edge protection is a design that it
does not share with its later successors, which makes this part even rarer!

This rare spare part was not available for a long time
. Now, after almost a year and the testing of many samples, we can once again offer the edge protection for the PKS/ETS models in very good quality and fit. The available colors are: silver (as in the original) and new: also in black. The Vespa PKS is independent when it comes to fitting the edge protector, as the edge protector is riveted to a kick strip end piece. We can offer the necessary end pieces for the kick plates in various sets. The following variants are available:
- Silver edge protection, without fastening material 3332778
- Black edge protection, without fastening material 3332779
- Silver edge protection, incl. tread strip end pieces and rivets 3332778KTS1
- Black edge protection, incl. tread strip end pieces and rivets 3332779KTB1
- Silver edge protection, incl. tread strips, tread strip end pieces and rivets 3332778KTS2
- Black edge protection, incl. tread strips, tread strip end pieces and rivets 3332779KTB2
Simple installation:
You need a drill/drilling machine and a pair of
blind rivet pliers
- The heads of the blind rivets on the front, outer tread strips must be removed by drilling. This exposes the end pieces to the old edge protection. The remnants of the blind rivets remain in the old end pieces, so the end pieces, which are usually damaged anyway, are unfortunately no longer usable.
- The new edge protection is guided downwards from the top, simultaneously on both sides in the bead of the leg shield.
- The two curves at the top are hooked into the bead.
- The new edge protection is hooked in at the bottom with the new tread strip end pieces and the tread strip end pieces are fastened with blind rivets.
- Finished :-)
