Annoying play in the steering head from the shift tube can now be replaced by a new one, thanks to a large number of good replicas of many models.
Here are mostly the differences to be considered

Recess and thread for turn signal switch
All tubes have a shrunk on cast body that fits the recess in the tube for the clutch cable and a receptacle for the clutch lever.
