Important: Difference to early auxiliary shafts

Early gearbox types (e.g. VBB, Sprint) used auxiliary shafts that originally worked with pointed needles. These pointed needles are hardly available today. As a replacement, they are usually converted to the modern needle type with rounded ends.

The round needle type requires an auxiliary shaft with an undercut on the bearing surface.

Pitting/wear marks can often be found on the bearing surface of old auxiliary shafts - replacement is then advisable.

Please check the dimensions of the bearing seats before ordering, as there are different diameters.
