The early engines, such as those used in the SKR, TPH and the Hexagon models of the EX series, used crank webs with a diameter of only 90 mm.
The later engines of the Gilera Runner FX/FXR, Piaggio Skipper, Hexagon LX/LXT and Italjet Dragster 125/180 series used crank webs with a diameter of 92 mm.
This means that the shafts of the newer engines do not fit into the old housings. For this reason, almost all tuning crankshafts are manufactured with 90 mm cheeks (BGM, Malossi). They therefore always fit in all cases.
