Original Piaggio Ersatzteiel for the engine revision of Wideframe models
All engine seals for a revision are included. The seals most simply with a little grease
smeared, in order to stick it with it to the housing and so prevent it from being bent
or damaged during installation. Sealing compound is only necessary if the housing is defective (grooves in the sealing surface or similar).
If a healthy motor housing still drips, it is usually strained or crooked. A warped housing
is caused by unevenly tightened housing screws. It is ideal to tighten the housing halves evenly (crosswise!) with
a torque wrench. Maximum value here is according to Piaggio -
specification 6-8NM.
