Made in ItalyItalian CNC precision meets genuine performance engineering: the black EVOK Performance P34 IRON is a precision CNC-machined front brake caliper that goes far beyond the appearance of a conventional standard caliper. EVOK has the caliper manufactured in Italy by 8.1 Ottopuntouno. Visible machining marks, powerfully sculpted contours and the deep black finish make its purpose immediately clear: uncompromising racing style backed by serious engineering.
A crucial detail is hidden inside: the EVOK P34 uses two brake pistons, each with a diameter of 34 mm. Compared with the original brake caliper with two 30 mm pistons, this provides a significantly larger hydraulically effective piston area. The matching sintered brake pads are already installed in the caliper and are included in the scope of delivery.
The difference between 30 and 34 mm may initially sound modest, but because piston area increases with the square of the diameter, the effect is substantial. The original brake caliper with two 30 mm pistons has a total effective piston area of approximately 1,414 mm². The EVOK P34 with two 34 mm pistons provides approximately 1,816 mm².
This represents an increase in effective piston area of approximately 28.4%. At the same hydraulic brake pressure, the EVOK P34 can therefore theoretically generate around 28% more clamping force between the brake pads and brake disc.
At the same time, this changes the hydraulic ratio between the brake master cylinder and brake caliper. When used with the same master cylinder, the larger piston area requires correspondingly more brake fluid volume for the same amount of piston travel. As a result, lever travel and brake lever feel may also change compared with the standard caliper.
Important: the 28.4% larger piston area does not automatically mean 28.4% more actual braking performance at the vehicle. The braking effect that can ultimately be achieved also depends on the brake disc, brake pads, coefficient of friction, temperature, hydraulic system configuration and, ultimately, tyre grip. However, the larger piston area provides a significantly different hydraulic ratio and correspondingly greater potential brake pad clamping force.
The P34 does not arrive as an empty brake caliper: EVOK supplies the caliper with sintered brake pads already installed. The pads are positioned in the caliper and secured by an easily accessible brake pad retaining pin with safety clip.
This eliminates the need to select a separate initial set of brake pads. The brake caliper and sintered pads already form a complete unit when supplied – particularly attractive for a new build or a comprehensive upgrade of the front braking system.
The P34 does not look like a racing component by accident. Numerous surfaces display clearly visible CNC machining paths, deeply sculpted contours and precisely machined ribs. Rather than concealing these machining details beneath an understated production finish, they are deliberately incorporated into the design.
On the black P34 in particular, this creates a fascinating interplay between deep black surfaces and finely visible tool paths. The large contrasting EVOK logo dominates the outer face, while the additional “By 8.1” marking identifies the Italian manufacturing partner Ottopuntouno. The copper-coloured backing plates of the installed sintered brake pads provide an additional technical accent inside the caliper.
EVOK has the P34 manufactured in Italy by 8.1 Ottopuntouno. Italian CNC manufacturing meets EVOK's performance-oriented approach to create a brake caliper that confidently displays its technical function: precisely machined surfaces, exposed mechanical details and a design language perfectly suited to performance-focused scooter builds.

The EVOK P34 is exactly the kind of component that deserves to be seen on a purpose-built scooter. Two 34 mm pistons, pre-installed sintered brake pads, Italian CNC manufacturing and the deep black EVOK finish combine technical upgrading with an unmistakable racing appearance.
From classic ET2, ET4 and Zip SP models to modern Primavera, Sprint and Elettrica scooters, the front braking system becomes a visible part of the complete performance concept.
Work on the braking system is safety-critical and should be carried out professionally. After installation, the brake system must be filled and bled according to the manufacturer's specifications and checked for correct operation and leaks.
