The name says it all. The EGIG Unisex is almost universally applicable. As one of the few resonance systems on the market, it fits all Smallframe models without frame modifications. With the Unisex, the focus was clearly on high and early torque. With the Egig 170 cylinder, its maximum output is already at 7000 rpm, with a smaller displacement around 500 rpm later. Its big plus is its constant torque, even at the lowest engine speeds. This results in a carburetor that is easy to tune. The homogeneous pressure curve of the exhaust also makes the carburetor setting relatively insensitive to weather conditions and altitude. The version shown here has 1.5 mm thick sheet metal.
This means that the exhaust is not only quiet from the rear silencer, but also the resonance body itself. The classic 'ping-ping-ping' is effectively dampened here. However, the 1.5 mm thick sheet metal is much more difficult to work with. As the systems are manufactured entirely by hand, the 1.5 mm version also stands out from the standard version in terms of price.
