Dexter Racing - Brake kit front disc brake for PK forks of the 1st series

Conversion kit from drum to disk for the first series of Vespa PK forks. The fork and mudguard remain unchanged, only the swingarm is replaced. The conversion is fully reversible and provides noticeably more braking power at high speed. Please refer to the information box on fork variants by market to select the appropriate version.

Important: PK fork variants depending on the country

In some countries (e.g. Italy, Austria; in some cases the Netherlands), PK models were delivered with short-swinging smallframe forks with V50 characteristics, which leads to greater dipping when braking. In Germany, PK models are predominantly found with a longer swingarm (PX-like geometry). Please check briefly before buying:
Rubber stopper: If you have a rubber stopper (approx. Ø3cm) on the swingarm side in the center of the wheel, you have a short swingarm => the set offered here fits.
If you do not see a round rubber plug but only a plastic cover with a length of approx. 13cm, you have a long swingarm - the set does not fit here.
Parts notes: Parts lists sometimes explicitly state "PK (ital.)" - this indicates the short smallframe swingarm.
If unsure: submit a photo of the front in side view and the frame prefix (e.g. V5X...) to support - we will be happy to check for you which version you have.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about the PK 1st series brake kit

No. The original fork and mudguard remain unchanged. The conversion is carried out by replacing the swingarm and is completely reversible.
Designed for 4-piston calipers with 82 mm radial mount. Depending on the caliper, suitable adapters and pads must be selected.
The defined damper linkage at axle height significantly reduces dive. The result: a more stable front end, later braking points and smoother braking even on undulating surfaces.
Compatible with 10 inch tubular rims. For accessory rims, please check the offset and clearance of the brake.
That depends on the national regulations. Please check the local legal situation and possible expert opinions.
