Why threads with different directions of rotation?

The biggest advantage of a right-hand thread on the right-hand side and a left-hand thread on the left-hand side is that the mirrors can no longer come loose due to the airstream at higher speeds. A left-hand thread on the right-hand side and a right-hand thread on the left-hand side offer the advantage that the mirrors can come loose in the event of a crash, thus minimizing damage to the mirrors or their threads.
