Please adjust the coils to the existing pole wheel before installation. To do this, loosen the screws of the coils and adjust and retighten them accordingly. The clearance between the pole wheel and coils should be approx. 2/10mm.
The pole wheel should therefore have an internal diameter of 106.4mm. In Piaggio workshops they used a special tool (13768/C, no longer available) to center the coils on the ignition base plate. If the clearance of 2/10mm cannot be achieved by the offset of the coils, the ignition base plate together with the mounted coils can be turned to 106mm on a lathe.
