But also for vehicles already equipped with the electronic ignition there are real advantages. The basic idea is a significant improvement of the acceleration thanks to less flywheel mass. The ignition itself is based on a base plate of a 50cc automatic microller and has a frequency dependent ignition timing control. This is dynamically designed and adjusts over the speed band in a fixed pre-programmed ignition curve.
The engine adjusts the ignition timing dynamically (i.e. by changing the speed) by 8° crank angle.
