Diaphragm intake manifold for Malossi 136cc MHR cylinder - Ø30 mm passage, suitable for Smallframe Vespa

With the 136cc MHR, Malossi is launching a completely new version of the popular Smallframe cylinder for PV, ET3, PK125, ETS. With significantly larger ports, a much more modern scavenging system and made of coated aluminum, it is well equipped for long-lasting top performance.

The cylinder can be operated either as a housing intake (rotary valve or diaphragm) or, using an optionally available diaphragm intake manifold, as a direct intake.

A new design of the Malossi intake manifold is intended to prevent over-greasing in the idling range. The previous version for the cast iron cylinders tended to accumulate mixture as a veritable lake at the lowest point when idling. As a result, tuning across all engine speed ranges was always quite difficult. This has been remedied with the MHR version.

The intake manifold has a clear passage width of Ø30mm. The outer connection width for the rubber is Ø35mm. This makes the intake manifold ideal for a Dell'Orto PHBL28/30, VHST28, Mikuni TMX30, Keihin PWK28 or Polini 28/30mm carburetor.

The intake manifold set includes:

  • Intake manifold
  • Membrane box (is mounted on the cylinder)
  • diaphragm
  • Connecting rubber
  • Hose clamps
  • Cover for housing inlet (2-hole and 3-hole)
  • Seals for direct and housing inlet
  • Stud bolts and screws
