Mounting kit for DELL'ORTO SHB/SHBC 19.19 carburetors for converting classic Vespa small-frame engines to a 19-mm carburetor. Ideal for Vespa V50, 50N, Special, V90, and Spanish Motovespa 50/75 models. Also suitable as a replacement for the original mounting parts on the Primavera and ET3.
All necessary mounting parts for installing an existing DELL'ORTO SHB/SHBC 19.19 carburetor on a classic Vespa small-frame engine. This kit is specifically designed for owners of a Vespa 50, 90, or a Spanish Motovespa who want to replace their stock small carburetor with a 19-mm carburetor.
The larger carburetor bore is a proven upgrade for small-frame engines. Even sporty 75-cm³ cylinders, such as the Polini Racing or DR F1, can benefit from this. A 19-mm carburetor is also a sensible choice for many tuned engines with 102 or 112 cm³. Especially when combined with adjusted intake valve timing, the performance potential of these engines can be better realized.
If you already own the right carburetor, this kit provides the parts needed for installation without having to buy an additional carburetor or air filter.
When upgrading from a smaller SHB carburetor, simply replacing the carburetor is not enough. The 19-mm version requires a compatible intake manifold and a properly sized mounting sleeve.
The kit includes a 2-hole intake manifold for rotary valve engines with a Ø23 mm carburetor connection, as well as the corresponding sealing and mounting parts.
Carburetor and air filter are not included.

Motovespa – Spanish small-frame models
Note on Motovespa: The Spanish Primavera 75 PK (9PK) is not the same as the later Piaggio PK series. For Spanish models, the actual design of the engine casing and the routing of the pipes should be checked before installation.
The installation kit is also suitable for the following models equipped with a corresponding 19-mm carburetor system:
For Vespa Primavera and ET3 models equipped with the original 19-mm carburetor, this kit can be used to replace worn or missing components.
The intake manifold is attached to the engine casing using the included gasket. The cast metal protective cap and felt ring seal the connection to the carburetor. The felt ring should be greased before installation to ensure the connection reliably seals against air leaks.
Important: The included intake manifold is designed for classic V50/Primavera engine cases with a 2-hole mounting and corresponding pipe routing. Different intake manifold versions are required for Vespa PK, PK S, and PK XL models.
After the conversion, the carburetor’s jet settings must be adjusted to match the engine.
