Genuine Piaggio brake pad set for the rear disc brake of current Vespa GTS and GTS Super models. The brake pads are designed for the standard rear brake caliper and are suitable as genuine replacements for worn rear brake pads.
The set consists of two brake pads for the rear brake. The shape of the backing plates, friction surfaces and retaining areas is matched to the corresponding brake caliper. This allows the standard configuration of the rear brake to be retained with genuine Piaggio parts during maintenance.
The images show the specific shape of the black backing plates with a wide friction surface and the characteristic retaining section at the top. Production markings are also visible on the rear of the pads. Together, the two pads form the complete set required for one brake caliper.
Brake pads should always be replaced as a complete set for the respective brake caliper. When replacing the pads, the brake disc, brake caliper and associated guide components should also be checked for condition and wear. After installation and before riding, operate the brake several times to establish the correct operating position and check that the rear brake functions correctly.
