Winterizing your scooter? Summer is only just over and fall can be a great time to ride your scooter again! But watch out, it'll happen very quickly. The supermarkets are already full of gingerbread and Christmas is already on December 24 this year :-) So what? Some of our customers ride their scooters all year round, even in winter. There are now really useful winter tires for scooters. Others prefer to winterize their scooter in a dry cellar, garage or workshop.

- General: Avoid repair backlog, repair before setting >> Spare parts
- Cleaning: Set up the scooter dry. It is best to clean thoroughly beforehand >> Cleaning | Preservation | Paint | Oil | Care | Cleaning | Service
- Tank: Fill up before parking. >> Oil | Petrol can
- Battery: Remove, store in a frost-free place and charge approx. every 2 months. >> Battery
- Carburetor: Empty float chamber (2-stroke) and clean >> Carburetor cleaner and overhaul
- Tires: Increase air pressure, check and replace if necessary >> Tire finder

- Covering: Make sure the tarpaulin is breathable, otherwise there will be rust due to condensation >> tarpaulin

Parking and maneuvering scooters without an engine
Many use the winter and then overhaul the engine in the warm room, while Vespa, Lambretta and the like are parked in the garage for the winter. I've heard that engine parts have been cleaned in my mother's dishwasher... Sorry mom :-) But then where to put the scooter without the engine:
