The kit is plug-and-play on the original intake manifold of 1-channel engines with high-nose pistons. The Polini CP carburetor used is very compact, making it perfectly suited for the limited space in the Wideframe models. The carburetor features an optimized gear ratio for the throttle cable, allowing it to be fully opened even with the original throttle grip. The modification is not visible from the outside and remains unobtrusive. The special adapter sleeve allows the carburetor to be connected directly to the intake manifold—as intended in the original design—using the included clamp.
The carburetor is equipped with a cable-operated choke set that can be connected to the choke lever under the seat in place of the original choke cable. This preserves the original cold-start function.
The carburetor is supplied with a jet set suitable for original engines. A corresponding main jet set is included for any necessary adjustments. The set also includes an extra-short air filter with a depth of only 30 mm, which is perfectly suited for use in the carburetor compartment of wide-frame models.
