The BGM PRO Faster Flow CNC carburettor bowl is a flow-optimized base for Vespa Largeframe engines if you are looking for more intake volume, clean sealing surfaces and a modern solution for SI carburettors. It fits plug and play for SI 24 (also 25.5) and SI 26. It is an ideal addition for the SI 28 because this carburettor usually does not fit cleanly in the older, "normal" carburettor bowls (model years before PX Lusso) in practice.
This carburettor sump has the external shape of the Autolube or PX Lusso sumps, but deliberately dispenses with the oil pump function. An oil pump cannot be fitted here.
Important for practical use: The original oil pump is designed for the fixed gas flow rate of a standard engine. The familiar full-load mixture (e.g. approx. 1:33 on a PX200) therefore applies primarily to the original engine. A tuned engine achieves significantly higher gas flow rates - which means that the oil quantity is proportionally lower. With powerful rotary valve setups, self-mixing is often the first choice in order to adapt the oil supply specifically to the engine, application and temperature.
Note: The list includes standard models, licensed models and later PX variants. For conversions, mixed configurations and retrofit housings, please always compare the intake shape, carburetor size and sealing surfaces on the engine.
The BGM PRO Faster Flow CNC carburettor bowl is a modern basis for SI setups on Vespa Largeframe: lots of volume, clean flow and stable sealing surfaces. It is particularly useful if you want to ride an SI 28 - because this carburettor usually does not fit easily into older, normal carburettor bowls (before PX Lusso).
