BGM PRO Racing crankshaft for reed valve inlet 54/105 mm Ø 24 mm

The bgm PRO Racing shaft with 54 mm stroke is the maximum for racing or ambitious street tuning.
In contrast to a normal shaft, the cheek diameter has been increased in order to

achieve

the necessary, higher overlap on the crank pin and thus additional torsion resistance despite the increased stroke.

This minimizes the risk of twisted cheeks and welding with the usual disadvantages is not necessary.

In the case of virgin housings, the housing must therefore

be spindled

to 88 mm,

a huge advantage being the high-quality 105 mm long connecting rod, with cleanly executed lubrication holes and now 5 mm thick. This is eight millimeters longer than the standard connecting rod of the 125cc. The advantages of the longer connecting rod are a more favorable deflection angle and the resulting lower friction of the piston in the raceway.

This increases performance and results in lower pre-compression, which works particularly well with the new reso systems such as the Feuerzauber from Ludwig und Scherer.

The transition at the transfer ports to the engine housing can also be made much more flow-favorable, which results in better performance .

We also recommend the spacer (BGM0223) to distance the cylinder and keep the timing the same. Furthermore, longer M7 stud bolts (BGM 0290) must be used. All this is included in the kit (7673184).

The shaft is operated with the standard ETS bearing.
