The engine housing must be spindled out to Ø88 mm in the area of the crank webs to accommodate the shaft.

This increases the performance and results in a lower pre-compression, which works great especially with the new reso systems such as the Feuerzauber from Ludwig und Scherer. Also the transition at the overflow to the engine housing can be made much more flow-favorable, which results in a better performance.
We also recommend the spacer (BGM0223) to distance the cylinder and to keep the control times the same. Furthermore, longer M7 studs (BGM 0290) must be used. All this is included in the kit (7673184).
