The ETS crankshaft comes from the PK125 sports model of the same name. 8.5 hp makes it the most powerful engine version of the smallframe models. For this reason, it has an extra strong tapered stump and therefore offers a very stable base, even for tuned engines. The relatively long opening angle of the intake rotary valve for a standard crankshaft supports a sporty engine. This means that the ETS crankshaft can also use significantly larger carburetors than the Ø20mm standard carburetor. Revising the intake window in the engine housing to the desired timing angle rewards the engine with a further increase in performance.
SPECIAL FEATURE
The PK125 ETS shaft uses an alternator-side crankshaft needle bearing with an inner diameter of Ø25mm (original ETS = 25x38x15mm) due to the reinforcement. If the crankshaft is to be installed in a V50, PV125, ET3 or similar smallframe engine, a special conversion bearing is required (ball bearing 25x47x12mm). Alternatively, we offer a shrink-fit adapter ring. This allows the standard bearing of the ETS models to be used.
If not already available, a suitable pole wheel for the large cone and matching ignition are also required. We offer complete conversion kits (all pole wheels/ignitions for engines with 20 mm cone fit).
