Pinasco 177 V2 - Touring cylinder for PX125-150
Pinasco's 177cc aluminum cylinder kits are a great way to give a standard 125/150cc engine a little more vitality. The well-made cylinders are designed for absolute reliability and shine with a broadband power output. Due to the excellent cooling properties of the aluminum, the 177 Pinasco can also be used with the original 20 mm Si carburetor without any problems. For a better power output, however, a 24 mm carburettor should also be fitted here.
A good tip is the bgm long-stroke shaft, which harmonizes very well with the Pinascop thanks to its moderate intake time. The increased displacement and, above all, the extended control angle of the cylinder resulting from the increased stroke enable a powerful and broad power band, ideal for long tours. At the same time, the fuel consumption remains very humane.
An extension of the gear ratio is interesting if the engine is frequently used on the freeway or if the engine is to be driven at low revs.
Pinasco's jetting suggestion is specified with a 108 main jet for the 20 SI carburettor and a 118 main jet for the 24 SI carburettor. The Pinasco can almost always be operated with the lean combination of 190 main air correction jet and BE 4 mixing tube.
The V2.0 version offers no technical innovations, but Pinasco has changed the foundry and the piston of the 2-channel version (which has a milling for the support channel) is now also used in the 3-channel version.
