Malossi offers two new reinforced PX200 engine cases, V-One and VR-One.
V-One
ROTARY VALVE
The V-One has a rotary valve intake and is aimed at all those who are either looking for a high-quality replacement for an original engine case and/or want to build a powerful but quiet touring engine.
VR-One MEMBRANE INLET
The VR-One, on the other hand, has an intake manifold with a reed valve inlet and is primarily aimed at tuners who value a high power output. The diaphragm inlet is moved further towards the cylinder, which means that full cheek shafts can also be used (the crank webs are no longer completely in the way of the gas flow).
Both housing types are already designed for use with a Malossi 210cc Sport or 210/221cc MHR cylinder. The engine housing is already manufactured to fit in the area of the overflow channels, so no further adjustments need to be made. Of course, all other cylinders can also be used on these cases.
The biggest novelty of the Malossi engine cases is the elimination of loose engine bolts and the center gasket made of sealing paper. The housing is now joined together with M8 Allen screws and sealed with temperature-stable sealing compound (tip: anaerobic curing sealing compound from Loctite). The housings have reinforcements at all neuralgic points (auxiliary shaft, fivefold bolted crankcase, swingarm and shock absorber mount). Extra material has been planned for the sealing surfaces, so tuners can let off steam here to their heart's content. Silent rubbers on the engine and shock absorber mounts are included with both types.
