The Simonini lefthand EVO exhaust is the successor of the legendary Simonini down & forward systems.
The exhaust with its power delivery has remained almost the same. The muffler does not look forward anymore (under the running board), but is mounted with a 180° elbow to the rear.
The lefthand Evo is an old school classic. Due to its short resonance length it is suitable for all high revving engines from 133ccm up, but is rather overstrained on modern cylinders like Falc, W-Force or Polini Evo, especially as its flange diameter is based on the conventional cast iron cylinders anyway.
But for an old school racer it is perfect. It pulls well from the middle of the rev range and only lets up when the throttle is turned back. With the right peripherals, this racing system doesn't even stop before five-digit revs.
Tech Tip: The lefthand Evo is relatively loud. But with another damper it can be immobilised.
