Malossi Rapid Sense lambda indicator for 4-stroke engines

Lambda indicator with sensor for 4-stroke engines. The lambda sensor measures the residual oxygen content in the exhaust gas. The display instrument thus provides information about the ratio of air to fuel supplied to the combustion process in the cylinder. This stoichiometric ratio is theoretically ideal at 14.7 : 1 (air to fuel). In practice, the following values have proven to be optimal:

Air-cooled scooter: 12.5-13
Water-cooled scooter: 13-13.5

The lower the value, the richer the mixture. In the acceleration phase and under full load, the values generally also tend towards a richer mixture. A hole is drilled in the exhaust manifold and a threaded sleeve supplied is welded on. The probe is screwed into this.

Thread of the probe: M18x1.5 mm

Only suitable for four-stroke engines!
