The top-of-the-line Lambretta models with 175 cc and 200 cc engine displacements have mounts on the fork and fork links for auxiliary shock absorbers. 

The 125 cc and 150 cc models were shipped without this suspension upgrade. Retrofitting was already popular in the 1960s to optimize handling. Visually, every Lambretta also benefits from front shock absorbers, as the fork no longer looks so bare but appears much more compact. With these CNC-machined parts, this retrofit becomes a clean, professional solution—stable, durable, and visually appealing.

The mounts are secured with the front axle bolt, and just like that, the drum brake fork links have mounts for the front shock absorbers.
