with TÜV (ABE)With the Sport and Competition line, BGM Pro has two high-quality shock absorber series in its product range. What both have in common is perfect workmanship, high material quality and ABE approval. Despite their high load capacity, the shock absorbers are very light, as they are CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum and have outstanding hard anodized surface protection.
The front dampers are 15 mm shorter than standard suspension struts and therefore lower the front of the vehicle. This benefits driving stability, top speed and not least the appearance. In addition, the swing arm angle is reduced, which improves the response of the shock absorber. The resulting increased caster stabilizes handling at higher speeds.
BGM PRO SC Competition
Gas-pressure-based racing suspension with superb everyday qualities. Fully adjustable in spring preload (infinitely variable) and rebound (12/16 stages). With separate expansion tank for the gas reservoir, therefore extremely thermally stable, even in tough racing conditions. The adjustment range extends from comfortable to very firm and can therefore be adapted to any rider and riding style.
BGM PRO SC Sport
Based on the Competition suspension, but without a separate reservoir and fixed damping rate. Ideal for sporty everyday use, even with powerful engines. Very harmonious basic set-up with an optimum balance between sportiness and suitability for everyday use. Compared to the Competition suspension, it is infinitely adjustable in height. This means that the height of the vehicle can be adjusted on both axles. This means that the front can be lowered or the rear raised without having to change the spring pre-load, which is so important for negative suspension travel. The front shock absorber can be infinitely adjusted between 240 mm and 220 mm in height.
Incl. enclosed ABE and adjustment instructions.
Note: Vespa PX models from approx. 2000 onwards require a spacer of at least 48 mm length at the top of the rear shock absorber (see accessories). Piaggio uses longer shock absorbers from 2000 onwards, which are fitted without a spacer. A spacer (as originally fitted to the older models ex works) is required to restore the correct overall length. Otherwise the rear is too low by the amount of the missing spacer.
