Brake Line Banjo Bolt Royal Alloy – M10 x 1.25 – Black – GP, JPS, TG 125–350cc

Genuine Royal Alloy banjo bolt with M10 x 1.25 thread for securing brake lines with a ring fitting. The black component is used within the hydraulic brake system and combines the mechanical fastening of the brake line with the passage of brake fluid.

The banjo bolt is intended for corresponding brake line connections on various Royal Alloy models from the GP, JPS and TG ranges with 125 to 350cc. It is suitable for replacing a damaged or no longer serviceable original connection bolt.

M10 x 1.25 thread – pay attention to the correct pitch

The bolt has a metric external thread with a nominal diameter of 10 mm and a thread pitch of 1.25 mm. This thread specification must exactly match the internal thread of the respective hydraulic connection.

It is particularly important to distinguish this version from the also available Royal Alloy banjo bolt with M10 x 1.00 thread. Although both versions have the same nominal diameter, they have different thread pitches and are therefore not interchangeable.

Before installation, it must be ensured that the M10 x 1.25 thread specification is intended for the respective connection position.

Black finish with hexagonal head and integrated flange

The banjo bolt has an external hexagonal head with a continuous flange positioned underneath. This forms the transition to the cylindrical bolt shank and provides an annular contact surface.

The shank has an unthreaded section with a lateral cross bore. This is followed by the M10 x 1.25 threaded section.

The entire visible exterior has a black finish. The surface has a slightly glossy appearance. Manufacturing-related surface structures are visible on the edges of the hexagonal head, the flange and the threaded section.

The hexagonal head allows installation with a suitable spanner or socket.

Fluid passage through the bolt shank

The banjo bolt features an axial internal bore that is open at the threaded end. A lateral cross bore connects this passage to the brake line connection area.

When used with a suitable banjo fitting, the bolt is passed through the ring-shaped brake line fitting. The integrated bores allow brake fluid to flow between the fitting and the connected hydraulic component.

The connection is sealed using the specified sealing rings or sealing washers at the contact surfaces of the banjo fitting.

Important replacement information

The specified sealing washers must be used when installing a banjo bolt. Damaged or previously deformed sealing washers must be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

Before installation, the threads, the sealing surfaces of the banjo fitting and the bores of the banjo bolt must be checked for damage and contamination.

The connection must be tightened to the torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Care must be taken to ensure that the brake line is installed without tension and in the intended position.

After replacement, the hydraulic brake system must be properly bled and checked for leaks and correct operation.

Work on hydraulic brake systems should only be carried out by appropriately qualified personnel.

The genuine Royal Alloy M10 x 1.25 banjo bolt provides a vehicle-specific replacement part for repairing the brake line connection. The black finish with integrated flange corresponds to the intended design of this bolt variant.
