The black floorboard rubber strip is a genuine Royal Alloy spare part for the front inner floorboard trims. It is used on both the left and right sides of the vehicle and forms the rubber insert within the corresponding floorboard trim. As an individual replacement part, the rubber profile allows a damaged or worn insert to be replaced without having to replace the entire floorboard trim.
The upper surface features a fine, diagonally patterned texture. Unlike a smooth bodywork trim, it provides a grippy contact surface in the footrest area. The black rubber blends discreetly into the overall design of the floorboard.
The profile has a long, narrow design. Several separate retaining sections and recesses are located on the underside, designed to fit into the corresponding floorboard trim. The ends are shaped to match the intended installation position.
Before fitting the new rubber profile, the mounting channel of the floorboard trim and the existing retaining points should be checked for damage and dirt. The replacement part is inserted into the designated mounting channel according to its profile shape. Make sure that the retaining sections on the underside are correctly positioned and that the rubber sits evenly along its entire length.
As the same profile is designed for both sides of the vehicle, there is no need to distinguish between left-hand and right-hand versions when ordering. However, it is important to differentiate between inner and outer floorboard rubber strips and the various installation positions.
This genuine floorboard rubber strip restores the footrest surface in the front inner floorboard area to its intended condition. The textured surface and precisely shaped profile correspond to the original factory design.
