At last, the bgm PRO exhaust system for the Vespa Wideframe models is available again.
Compared to the previous series, we have made small changes.
The position in the silencer has changed. The tailpipe now sits in the lower exhaust bowl, so that the appearance of the bgm PRO WIDEFRAME BOX is even closer to the original.
We had to go back and forth a bit with the manifold. We received feedback from you that the manifold was too close to the engine, depending on the application and model. We have adapted the routing so that there is more distance to the swingarm, as well as the gearshift and clutch cables. All this, of course, without affecting the performance or the pleasant torque character of the bgm PRO WIDEFRAME BOX.
We also took another look at the inner values of the speaker. The possible installation space of the bgm PRO BOX only allows for limited measures that can combine the original appearance, early onset of power character and discreet sound.
Attachment to the cylinder is still via the precisely fitting flange with the wide clamp.
The lugs for attaching the springs have been retained on the manifold.
The exhaust harmonizes very well with cylinders from bgm, CC-Corsa, Pinasco. With an advance in the range of approx. 22° to 27°, the bgm BOX copes well. The control angles of the transfer channels should be in the range up to 120°. A slight oversteer of a few degrees is also tolerated.
