4th round of the EST in Mülsen

European Scooter Trophy 2025 – thrilling race weekend in Mülsen

Arena E, Mülsen

After the cancellation of the French round, there was great joy: the European Scooter Trophy made its first guest appearance at Germany's most modern kart track, the Arena E in Mülsen. With a length of over 1,300 meters, exciting cornering characteristics and genuine motorsport flair, the facility offered perfect conditions for the fourth round of the season. And they had it all: the championship is still completely open in all nine classes - the races were correspondingly hard-fought.

Class 7 - Beginners (NIBBI)

In the beginners' class, the focus was firmly on the championship standings. Felix Mirche collected important points with a strong second place, ousting Tim Zimmermann from the top spot. Guest starter Yannick Kräutler confidently took the lead. Strebel completed the podium with a solid third place - a result that shows how close the competition is in this junior class.

Class 1 - Rookies (by Scooter-Attack)

There was also plenty of excitement in the rookie class. Behind the leading duo, the battle for the chasing positions was fiercely contested. Alexander Herrmann made clever use of the second race and was able to secure important points ahead of Danny Ilic. Frese was constantly involved in the action at the front and further extended his championship position. However, the dominant rider of the weekend was clearly Schoon from Team WTF Racing, who left no doubt about his class with great consistency and high speed.

Class 2 - Supersport & Big Bore

The championship is still wide open in this category, so the action in Mülsen was also very competitive. Lars Müller confirmed his good form and once again scored valuable points with third place. F. Vanore was even stronger, continuing his upward trend from previous races and finishing in second place. However, Tom Henry Collin from Belgium was unassailable, clearly distancing himself from the competition with two faultless runs and impressive speed.

Class 3 - Expert (by Scooter-Attack)

The Expert class was the absolute highlight of the weekend - and once again showed why it is considered a premium category. Three riders clearly set themselves apart from the field: Schnelle, Gras and Lukas engaged in a three-way battle that left everyone at the track open-mouthed for laps.

The races were full of intensity: hard braking duels, lightning-fast overtaking maneuvers, repeatedly pushing the line and counter-attacking - motorsport at the highest technical and riding level. All three drivers were almost on a par in terms of speed, so there was no room for error. Lukas repeatedly set the tone with the best performance of the weekend, but had to fight hard for and defend his leads. Gras also put in a strong performance and remained a constant threat, while Schnelle was always in contention for the top spots with his clever racing.

This trio kept the spectators on the edge of their seats for 15 laps. In the end, Lukas kept the upper hand, celebrating three confident victories and securing the championship title ahead of time. Gras was rewarded with second place, while Schnelle took third place after a great fight. But the result only tells part of the story - these races will be remembered as one of the most spectacular highlights of the season.

Class 6 - GP Open (NIBBI)

There was a thrilling duel for the chasing positions in the GP Open. Bartsch and Lesch battled it out lap after lap, with Lesch ultimately coming out on top and taking second place. Bartsch was narrowly beaten, but also collected valuable points. The victory went to F. Schweitzer, who set the pace at the front and won with aplomb.

Class 8 - Endurance

A two-hour endurance race was held in this category. NIBBI-Racing had to pit again shortly before the end of the race due to a looming technical problem, but the team was able to bring the car back in time. This ultimately secured them second place. AKRacing / R.N.D Racing took the win with 111 laps ahead of NIBBI-Racing with 109 laps and Pumba Racing Team with 108 laps. A thrilling race that kept the tension high right up to the last lap.

Class 9 - Endurance Split

Here, the teams delivered a real heart-stopping finale over two hours. All teams completed exactly 115 laps, but the races were characterized by tactical manoeuvres. It became particularly exciting when Pitlane Cruiser had to make a driver change just a few minutes before the end. The question right up to the last meter: Would the lead be enough or not? In the end, it was enough - just - with a lead of 34 seconds over Flo and the Machines and Kompressorschnecken. It was amazing to see everyone on the same lap after two hours - a race could hardly have been more exciting.
