Backyard Bash 2.5 – Small Engines, Huge Party!

Mopeds, burnouts, and pure passion for tinkering all around Hürth!

What an incredible event! The Hinterhof Sause 2.5 by Knatterköpp has once again proven that you don’t need a lot of displacement to put on a huge show. Small engines, but massive enthusiasm—this gathering for mopeds and scooters was simply absolutely amazing!

30 km ride around Hürth: Small engines, plenty of speed!

An absolute highlight was the roughly 30-kilometer ride through the picturesque surroundings of Hürth. But anyone who thinks that mopeds are all about cruising at a leisurely pace is sorely mistaken!

The “Bad Boys” of the 50cc scene have tuned their little machines so aggressively that it’ll take your breath away—there’s real power and plenty of speed behind them!

After the ride, the party in the backyard really got going. The organizers put together a huge celebration for young and old alike, where there was absolutely no chance of getting bored:

• Games for all ages and a fully stocked candy shop 

• An open bar and cool drinks to help you cool off 

• Live bands that really got the crowd fired up 

• Smoky burnouts and spectacular action on the field 

• A dyno test stand where the little powerhouses could prove their mettle

Of course, with so much passion in the air, the Scooter Center couldn’t be missing! Roland and Maryza were were there—and we had an absolutely incredible time with all of you!
