bgm PRO HPC crankshafts: Power and smooth running for Lambretta

The bgm PRO HPC (High Performance Competition) crankshafts are the first choice for Lambretta tuning. These full-circle race crankshafts offer maximum performance, twist resistance, and ultra-smooth engine operation. Continuously developed since 2009, this is the ultimate Lambretta crankshaft design. Compatible with all original engine cases and, of course, all SIL, Uni Auto, and Gran Turismo casings.

Since 2018, we’ve been working with a new manufacturer – easily recognized by the forged CNC-finished connecting rod. Alongside our own tests, the Replay team confirmed these cranks handle over 30 hp in BSSO racing use without issues. Since this series started in 2018, we haven't seen a single twisted crankshaft.

The only criticism we ever got: Why can’t you deliver? We've now solved this problem, and the best crankshafts are finally available again. And not just from our main manufacturer – the same design is now also available from Italian high-end maker PRIMATIST. So from now on (and hopefully forever), we can always deliver.


What makes the bgm PRO HPC crankshafts special?

Balance factor: Ultra-smooth engine feel

  • Precision balancing: Counterweights made of copper and tungsten (100 g of tungsten per crank web) minimize vibrations and ensure a silky-smooth engine across the entire RPM range.
  • Wide range of rod lengths: 107 mm, 110 mm, or 116 mm – perfect for popular kits like RaceTour, Casa Lambretta, Casa Performance, Quattrini M210, AF Rayspeed’s TS1, Rapido, RB, Imola, Monza, GranTurismo GT. The 110 mm versions include spacers to compensate for the longer rod. The 60 mm version also includes a spacer for the increased stroke.
  • Race-proven: 2nd place in the 2018 BSSO race series (Group 4) by Team Replay – tested and proven under extreme conditions.



Full-circle design: More power

  • Higher pre-compression: Full-circle design improves cylinder filling, ideal for tuning kits and more power across the entire rev range.
  • Forged crank webs: Denser material, high durability, and better heat dissipation – stable at high revs.
  • Stroke options: 58 mm or 60 mm stroke, no casing modifications needed.

  • Precision manufacturing: ISO and QC certified, ground press fit surfaces, coated crank pin (22 mm), CNC-machined connecting rod for maximum durability.
