WHY SHAFT SEALING RING MADE OF FKM/
The material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is extremely resistant to heat, friction and fuel/ethanol. In Germany, current premium fuel already contains up to 5% ethanol admixture per se. In other countries, the ethanol/alcohol content is even higher. Conventional oil seals / shaft seals can swell or soften on contact with fuels containing ethanol. bgm PRO FKM shaft seals, on the other hand, offer perfect protection. In addition, FKM is twice as temperature-resistant as conventional (blue) NBR oil seals, has very good gas impermeability and is also highly resistant to ageing.
WHAT ARE THE SIMMER RINGS SUITABLE FOR?
An engine fitted with bgm PRO FKM/ oil seals can therefore also be operated with E10 fuel (10% alcohol content). The high-quality brown FKM* sealing material is permanently resistant to alcohol and is also suitable for engines with high temperature loads and high engine speeds. bgm PRO FKM/ oil seals are therefore suitable for all engines, regardless of whether they are original or tuned high-performance engines. For reasons of environmental protection and to ensure maximum flexibility of the sealing lip, we deliberately do not additionally coat the sealing lip with PTFE/Teflon®*
ADVANTAGES OF BGM PRO
SHAFT SEALING RINGS! BGM PRO shaft sealing rings offer an additional feature of double sealing. All shaft seals that seal to the atmosphere have a so-called dust lip. This is positioned in front of the actual sealing lip and keeps out dust, dirt and moisture. This further increases the already good stability.
