BGM7915 Ball bearing -BGM PRO- rear wheel Lambretta series 1-3

Lambretta rear wheel bearing

The special rear wheel bearing of the Lambretta engines of the series 1 to 3 in high quality.

Lambretta bearing with integrated shaft seal

The special drawing bearing is characterized by the fact that a shaft seal must be mounted between the inner and outer ring for sealing. We take the somewhat complex assembly of the shaft seal ring off your hands and deliver the bearing already with mounted shaft seal ring in NBR quality.

"Quality is ... when the customer comes back, not the product."

After mounting the bearing in the engine housing and the main shaft, the bearing clearance is still sufficiently large without the bearing running too tightly. Thanks to the high-quality sealing and sufficient tolerance of the bearing clearance, all the basic requirements for many trouble-free kilometers are met.

Our TIP for fitting: Warm up the engine, cool the bearing

To fit the bearing, the engine housing should be warmed up and the bearing cooled. A few hours in the freezer compartment is sufficient for the bearing. If you are in a hurry, our cold spray can provide valuable and quick help. Example of a Vespa crankshaft bearing:As soon as the bearing is fitted and has also warmed up through the engine housing, it is time to fit the main shaft. As the inner ring of the bearing has now also warmed up slightly, even the much tighter main shafts from Casa Lambretta are easier to fit.

Pay attention to the torque!

When subsequently fitting the end shield, pay attention to the permissible torque. Due to their design, the slender M6 stud bolts tilt outwards if the tightening torque is too high and can therefore damage the engine housing. 4.7 - 5.2 Nm is given as a guide value for the four stud bolts.
