The BGM PRO CNC Clutch Basket reinforces the spring-loaded primary drive of high-performance Vespa small-frame engines. The rear bolting arrangement keeps the clutch side completely clear and provides maximum installation space for all 4- and 5-disc clutches.
The balanced basket is CNC-machined from high-strength tempered steel. A lightweight Ergal cover plate securely holds the shock absorber springs in the primary sprocket without adding unnecessary rotating mass. This makes the kit particularly suitable for high-performance street engines with high torque and correspondingly robust primary or shock absorber springs.

The clutch basket is bolted from the rear. This leaves more usable installation space on the clutch side than in designs with protruding bolt heads.
The basket can therefore be combined with all standard Vespa small-frame clutches featuring four or five friction plates—from classic V50, PV, and ET3 models to XL1 and XL2 clutches.
A Smart Combination of Tempered Steel and Ergal
The clutch basket is CNC-machined from high-strength quenched and tempered steel. The material provides the necessary strength and toughness to withstand high torques and the repetitive stresses on the clutch linings.
The cover plate is made of Ergal. This high-strength aluminum alloy reduces rotating mass while securely holding the shock-absorbing springs in the primary sprocket.
