The shaft is intended for the old gearwheel types with cranked shifting cross.
Attention: This shaft already has a thread for the rear wheel nut with M16x1,25, as used from 1984 on in the PX Lusso models.
The old shaft type is no longer produced by Piaggio.
If this shaft is to be used in old engines with castellated nut, it has to be replaced with a nut of the PX Lusso models including a suitable thinner washer as well as a safety cage and split pin (see accessories).
