Erich, alias Egig

Egig, based in the scooter paradise of South Tyrol, was born out of a passion for wrenching. Egig is driven by the fascination of combining the latest 2-stroke technology with old sheet metal. Owner Erich, alias Egig, has been wrenching on Smallframe Vespa scooters since he was 11 years old (!!) and has perfected and impressively demonstrated this from year to year on his own racing and road scooters. The Egig Performance company was founded many years later when he realized that the tuning products available on the market were no longer satisfactory in terms of quality or performance. The result is a fine portfolio of high-end Vespa tuning products for the smallframe. The innovative tuning parts from this Egig product range are constantly being perfected, further developed and expanded.

EGIG PERFORMANCE 'Super Banana Sport' sports exhaust for Vespa Smallframe PV125/ET3

Sportauspuff EGIG PERFORMANCE 'Super Banana Sport' für Vespa Smallframe PV125/ET3 The EGIG PERFORMANCE SUPERBANANA exhaust systems are perfect for inconspicuous but powerful smallframe engines. They score points with high performance, good drivability and a wide rev range. The Superbanana from EGIG PERFORMANCE is a resonance exhaust, based on the look of a conventional banana exhaust, as already used by Piaggio ex works on the popular SS50/90 and ET3 models. The Superbanana is designed to provide powerful engines from 125cc upwards with an exhaust that is visually and acoustically inconspicuous, but operates at the level of a classic resonance exhaust.

SOUND INSULATION

Inside is a silencer that reduces the volume to the lowest possible level without causing any loss of performance or heat build-up. The difference in noise development, compared to an original or other classic 'banana', is only a few DB more and that with +50% or more power increase, depending on the engine type.

*If the Superbanana is installed at 54mm, the M8 collar nut with 10mm wrench size supplied with the exhaust must be used on the inside of the manifold. The Superbanana exhaust systems are designed as the final expansion stage for fast road engines. They therefore need the right environment to deliver the appropriate performance. If the engine is still standard (or has been built rather conservatively despite the 133cc cylinder), the exhaust can only provide limited support. Here we would rather recommend a BGM Touring or BGM Sport Banana, as these can support the engine much better in such an environment. However, if the conditions are right (cylinder, intake revision, carburetor size, etc.), the Superbanana currently offers the highest increase in performance that can be achieved with an inconspicuous exhaust system. In order to meet different requirements, there are two different types, the Sport and Touring versions

Kupplung -EGIG PERFORMANCE- One Finger Clutch 5-Scheiben - Vespa V50, V90, SS50, SS90, PV125, ET3, PK50, PK80, PK50 S, PK80 S, PK125 S, PK50 XL, PK125 XL, ETS, PK50 HP, PK50 SS Sport clutch EGIG PERFORMANCE - One Finger Clutch - smooth-running clutch for smallframe engines up to 30 hp In contrast to a 3 or 4-disc clutch, the number of springs can be reduced in the 5-disc clutch. This results in a clutch that is very easy to operate. In conjunction with a PK XL2 cover (or alternatively a Crimaz clutch separator), the clutch is pulled with one finger. With 6 springs with the little finger.

Exhaust -EGIG PERFORMANCE Mamba Vespa ET3, PV125

Auspuff -EGIG PERFORMANCE Mamba Ø=32mm (54-60mm Stehbolzenabstand), verschraubter Enddämpfer (Ø70mm)- Vespa ET3, PV125 Racing exhaust -EGIG PERFORMANCE- Mamba - Midrace exhaust for powerful street tuning for Vespa Smallframe Classic resonance exhaust that produces a very nice power band with high performance and revving pleasure in the appropriate environment of a revised engine. The Mamba racing exhaust from EGIG PERFORMANCE from South Tyrol is a great mid-range system that sits between the Python and Cobra.

The very well-made resonance exhaust system is designed for engines between 100-144cc. It works very well on powerful cylinders such as the Quattrini M1L60 or Polini Evo. The exhaust rewards the right cylinder control angle with a wide power plateau and plenty of torque. Power input from approx. 6000 rpm, power peak around 8000 rpm which, however, is maintained above 1500 rpm.
