POLINI Speed Engine engine case for Piaggio Ciao with contact ignition

The classic tuning engine case for Piaggio mopeds/mopeds. Ideal for all cylinders from 43 mm to 46.5 mm bore.

When using a "racing shaft", intake times of between 185 and 195 degrees are achieved, as the Polini SpeedEngine housing has a considerably longer intake window. For carburetors larger than 13mm, the BGM intake manifold can simply be used.

Depending on the pole wheel (fan wheel) used, it may happen that the pole wheel grinds in the area of the transfer ports. However, this can be easily remedied with a file or a milling cutter.

The housing is available for contact ignition or for Elo ignition.
