The weather was perfect on Friday night, meaning that ideal racing conditions prevailed right on time for qualifying. And the times were blazingly fast. The best time of the day was 51.232 in the K6, set by Galeasso.

Viertaktsounds der EST The results of the weekend sorted by class:

K1 - Rookies by Scooter-Attack

The first race of the day ended very early for second-placed Herrmann. Directly after the pre-start, he had to push his scooter back into the pits with a technical defect and was unable to start. Urban on pole therefore had a clear run. However, he was unable to take it easy in the race. Vanore in second took aim at him. An exciting duel raged between Bechert and Kienzle for third place. On lap 9, the race had to be briefly red-flagged after Braun crashed. And so it became exciting again at the restart, as the lead they had built up was gone. The positions at the front were immediately restored. Urban ahead of Vanore and Bechert. In the second race, Herrmann was able to start again after an engine change. But after just a short time, he suffered a technical failure again. This left Urban at the front with almost no competition. Vanore could not quite keep up in terms of speed. Kienzle came in 3rd place. And pulled the field of three lap after lap on the way to the chequered flag. In the end, Urban won the Rookies by Scooter-Attack daily classification with two flawless races.

Class 2 - by Deutscher Bauservice

Danish power in the SuperSport. Pedersen in 1st place followed by Ebeling and Sperling. Pedersen was able to pull out a lead. For Ebeling it looked best until the end to take second place. At times it was back and forth between the three riders. However, Ebeling was handed a time penalty for overtaking under yellow on lap 12 and therefore had to hand over second place to Thönnissen. Sperling took third place. Pedersen was also able to take the lead in the second race. But Thönnissen wanted to be in contention for victory and was able to take the lead. As in the first race, the chasing pack was close together. Drath and Sperling were lurking just behind Pedersen. In the field of four, every mistake was mercilessly punished. Pedersen certainly put a lot of pressure on Thönnissen. He held his own. In the end, Pedersen was able to skilfully outbrake Thönnissen and take first place

Class 3 - Expert by Scooter-Attack

Schnelle had the best start to the first race in the Expert class. Lukas was in 2nd place, followed by Kovac. Everything looked good for a victory for Schnelle. The lead was good and the speed was great. However, Schnelle crashed on lap 5 directly in the long start-finish corner and had to end the race prematurely. Lukas was in the lead, followed by Kovac and Schmitt was already in 3rd place, but nothing changed in this position until the finish. Lukas took a well-deserved victory ahead of Kovac. #45 Denis Kovac and #33 Carsten Schmitt In the last race, things got really uncertain again. The rain forecast predicted rain on the tenth lap. Eyes closed and through, hoping to drive 15 laps without a drop. Schnelle's retirement cleared the way for Lukas. At least 4th place and he could seal the deal in the championship and become Expert champion ahead of time. And that's how Lukas started. Ahead at top speed. Kovac battled behind him, but was unable to get within striking distance. As in the first race, Schmitt took third place. Lukas crashed on lap 7 and relinquished the lead to Kovac. Schmitt was also able to move up to 2nd place. The riders chased each other. But it didn't go the full distance. Just after 75% of the race distance and 12 laps, it started to drizzle. Before the asphalt could turn to soft soap, race control had ended the race and Kovac was crowned the early winner ahead of Schmitt and Lukas.

Class 4 - Supramatic & BigBore

The first three starters in the BigBore's promised two great races. Ong in the lead, against the pursuers Monaya and Lukas. Ong had to give everything to keep Monaya behind him. Lukas couldn't quite keep up with the pace of the two. Monaya showed great composure and kept Ong at bay. 'With excess speed, he passed him on the inside on the long start-finish stretch. Ong then had to be careful not to be overtaken by Lukas as well. Monaya led the second race from the start. Ong was in second place in pursuit mode and was in turn being chased by Lukas. Lap after lap, the picture became clearer. Monaya was able to increase the gap bit by bit. The same applied to the gap between the second and third-placed drivers.

Class 5 - PitBike Stock by Scooter-Attack

Henning Gras 221 There was a little surprise right at the start in the pit bike class. Gras had to surrender his lead to F. Schweitzer on the first lap. J. Schweitzer followed in 3rd place, closely followed by Fritzsch. A great four-way battle. All the drivers were separated by just one tire width, which meant that positions could change at any time. F. Schweitzer closed well and kept the grass behind him. F. Schweitzer crossed the finish line first, ahead of Gras and Fritzsch. In the second race, F. Schweitzer led the field. Gras and J. Schweitzer were second and third. On lap 6, Gras was able to catch F. Schweitzer. And so the leading trio of Gras, F. Schweitzer and J. Schweitzer drove lap after lap towards the chequered flag. In the end, F. Schweitzer won ahead of Gras and J. Schweitzer.

Class 6 - GP Open

This race in Class 6 was by far the fullest field of starters. The guest starters from Italy showed particular class and made it quite difficult for the established field around Schweitzer & Co. And that's how the race went. Galeasso in the lead, closely followed by Schweitzer. He found himself in an Italian sandwich with Bertini and Galeasso. A great three-way battle that culminated in the many laps. Schweitzer was able to seize the opportunity in the tight network of bends and passed Galeasso with ice-cold speed. It was already looking like a win for Schweitzer when Galeasso tried everything again on the last lap. Shortly before the end, his ambition was rewarded and he was able to catch Schweitzer after all. Third place went to Bertini. The second race got off to a fantastic start for Galeasso. He was able to pull out a small gap to second place on grass early on. He had to hold his own against Bertini the whole time. He pushed corner after corner and was quickly rewarded. Gras had to let him go. F. Schweitzer and Bresciani battled for 4th place. In the end, Galeasso had to fight hard against his Italian compatriot to avoid being lapped. But he did everything right, kept his cool and took the day's victory in Class 6.

Class 7 - Beginners

A broad field of starters in the beginners' category too. A great development for the class and a good opportunity to gain racing experience in the big EST circus. Altmeppen in 1st place, who was already by far the fastest in training. Frauenhoff was 2nd, ahead of Eikenbusch. The race was littered with retirements and crashes. Altmeppen only noticed a little of all this. He had to make sure that he kept his nerve when lapping. Things did not go well for Frauenhoff, however. He had to park his scooter after a crash. The podium was thus as follows: Altmeppen ahead of Eikenbusch and Mirche.

Daily classification Class 7 - Beginners

Class 8 Endurance & 9 Endurance Split

There was a record number of drivers in the long distance. A total of 26 teams contested the 3-hour challenge. Team SA Tuning took the lead in K8. Bueno's could not keep up with the lap times. The lead grew - lap by lap. In Class 9 with several vehicles, on the other hand, there was an exciting three-way battle. Xpear, Mieze 2 and Braam fought fiercely for the podium. After 1/3 of the race distance, the gap between the opponents was just 12 seconds. Xpear Factory Team was able to claim the lead at this time. After 2/3 of the race distance, the standings looked much clearer. Xpear Factory Team was able to pull out a decent gap of 2 laps on Team Mieze 2. Braam was in 3rd place, but it was getting tighter again. In 4th and 5th place it was back and forth between Mieze and Racefoxx Pitbike ED. In the K8, SA Tuning was replaced by JD Performance. Bueno's was in 3rd place. 10 minutes before the end there was a decisive technical defect. Mieze 2 was in 2nd place and had to push into the pit lane. The team was able to continue the race, but could do nothing more against Xpear. And in K8, the runner-up JD-Performance was only just behind Bueno's before the car broke down. And the finish showed what a close finish means. 1 tenth of a second behind after 3 hours of racing, it was a real heart-stopping race.
